How it works

Coaching Conversations provide a safe and supportive environment for families to share, explore, overcome and cope with the numerous conflicts of family life.

A coaching psychology framework and approach offers support, reflection and re-framing for self-help. We do not prescribe solutions to the clients, rather we encourage and inspire to find a solution that fits their family. Family coaching is a holistic concept that can focus on many different areas.

The aim is to nurture and develop a supportive family environment with love and caring. This provides security, a sense of belonging, and open communication to ensure each person feels important, valued, respected and understood.

Blaming has no place in family coaching, rather the intention is to develop understanding for each other and understand that everyone has a subjective view of difficult and challenging situations.

A successful outcome is for the family to have developed its own strategy to better cope with any future struggles and challenges.

Coaching can never replace psychotherapy. This also applies to family coaching. Positive Psychology Coaching is basically aimed at psychologically healthy people who wish to improve their quality of life and work on their own personality. If mental illnesses are present, the psychotherapist is the right contact person. They are able to recognize and treat complex disorders. Coaches are not responsible for this.
